I can’t believe I have never given them a review. The very best restaurant in New Albany. Honestly, it is probably the best restaurant in all of southern Indiana. The staff is friendly. The food is wonderful. The drinks are delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed, but upscale and upbeat. Shrimp and grits and the pork chop are my top two, however you can’t go wrong.
We visited a couple of weeks ago to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had a truly wonderful experience. The service was exceptional—our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and welcoming. She was expecting at the time, and still made sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was elegant and relaxing, with tasteful decor that set a pleasant tone for the evening. We sampled a variety of martinis; the espresso martini and lemon drop martini stood out as our favorites—both were well-balanced and expertly crafted. For appetizers, we ordered a cheese board and crispy cauliflower. The cheese board offered a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors, while the cauliflower was perfectly crispy and paired beautifully with a sweet citrus chili sauce. For my entree, I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. My friends enjoyed their dishes as well, including burgers and another entree that were both flavorful and satisfying. To finish the evening, we shared the cheesecake and mixed berry cobbler. Both desserts were excellent, but the cheesecake was especially memorable. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Love this place, so glad New Albany has this restaurant. I've been quite a few times and I've never been disappointed. The mussels are a crowd favorite among my family and friends, I really enjoyed the salmon with pomegranate reduction last time and my boyfriend was blown away by his pork chop. The mango sol is probably my favorite cocktail in the area. The happy hour is great, I just wish it was more often and not just fri-sat! Either way, we'll be back to enjoy more yummy food and great service.
Board and You Bistro & Wine Bar is an exceptional experience from start to finish! The friendliness of staff, attention to detail, and quality and taste of the food is out of this world! They also made a big deal for our anniversary which was so nice. Our server Taylor is our new best friend.

Best place for a girls night out OR date night! Delicious appetizers, especially the fried cauliflower! Delicious salads, especially the charcuterie salad AND southwest salad! Mmm! And the tomato basil soup was heavenly! Prices are high, but it's totally worth it. The people who work there seem to LOVE their job, are kind/courteous and very helpful.
There is a gem in Southern Indiana! The name is, Board and You Bistro and Wine Bar. We checked for restaurants in the area and we thought this one looked interesting. So glad we did. First of all, Stevie, our waitress- amazing. So friendly and caring. She was warm and welcoming and took care of us well. I have fish allergies and the chef, Aaron came out and assured me that everything will be taken care of. Nick, the manager was outstanding! He is the reason we will be coming back to New Albany. We’re already making plans to be back for my wife’s, birthday celebration. Zack, the owner even stopped by to speak to us. This is a place that I will recommend time and time again. Yes, I know I love customer service but the food and cocktails, was world class. P.S. best burger I’ve ever had! You’ve got to go.
This is a new adventure for us! We love to go to new places! The atmosphere for this place is amazing! The charcuterie board was delicious with some cheeses they make in house. I had the Chicken Marsala and my husband had Boujee Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil soup. He likes his grilled cheese savory so he wasn’t really sure about the fig jam that is on his grilled cheese. I thought it was yummy! The Boston Creme Anglaise was delicious! I had never heard ‘anglaise’ until today so when I saw it on the menu, I had to try it! This place went on our Louisville favs list
